Why Give The Gospel is free and is preached without charge, yet it costs money to take the truth of the Gospel out. "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely you have received, freely give" (Matthew 10:8) "What then is my reward? That when I preach the gospel I may preach the gospel of Christ without charge, that I may not abuse my authority in the gospel." (1 Corinthians  9:18) "Even so, the Lord ordained those announcing the gospel to live from the gospel." (1 Corinthians 9:14) How to Give "Each one, as he purposes in his heart, let him give; not of grief, or of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver." (2 Coninthians 9:7) God's Promise "Give, and it shall be given to you, good measure pressed down and shaken together and running over, they shall give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you measure, it shall be measured to you again."
